Most of the children with autism seem completely normal.

AUTISM CHILDREN

Autism is a developmental severe disability that begins at birth or during the first three years of life. It is the result of a neurological disorder that affects the functioning of the brain - causing delays or problems with many skills from childhood to adulthood. For example, children and adults with autism typically show difficulties in social interaction and in verbal and nonverbal communication. They also tend to be interested in odd, repetitive or restricted activity. While most of autistic children seem completely normal, they differ from other children through a painful and shameful behavior.

Autism is a set of developmental disorders known as autism spectrum disorders (autism). spectrum disorder is a group of diseases that have similar properties. Although a person may have mild symptoms, you may be more difficult for them. Differences also exist in nature and have the same symptoms when they are likely to appear first.

Three different autism spectrum disorders are:

  • Autistic Disorder (also known as classic autism). This is the condition most common among autistics. He scored a significant delay in language difficulties in social interaction and unusual behavior. Some spectrum disorders Autism is also reduced mental capacity.
  • Asperger syndrome. People with this syndrome show some of the milder symptoms of autism - social and behavioral challenges as unusual. They generally have no delay in language or deteriorated mental abilities.
  • Pervasive developmental disorder - not otherwise specified (PPD-NOS, which is also called atypical autism ). Individuals may be diagnosed with PPD-NOS, if they meet certain criteria for both autism or Asperger syndrome, but not all. They are usually milder and fewer symptoms of autism spectrum disorder. Symptoms may be only the problems of language and social interaction.
To speed up the detection and early treatment in advance, scientists have recently begun to examine the brain with autism and to disclose specific biological signs of disturbance.
